| Work Performed: NIKE, Towpath Tennis and GameSnake.com teamed up to create a shoe design contest to increase publicity of Serena William's visit to Cleveland in December 2005. EYEMG created the site where children could download a new shoe template which they could color and send in to NIKE. | |||
All designs were submitted to NIKE/Serena Williams and 12 winners were selected and posted on the site. Winners received a FREE pair of Nike shoes and two tickets to the Williams Sister's Tour in Cleveland on December 1, 2005. Winners will also get the chance to meet Serena.
The Grand Prize Winner
Serena picked one shoe design as the grand prize winner, who won an autographed poster and a pair of Serena's new Shox tennis shoe for 2006.
Could you design a shoe that Serena would pick? This Nike Shox shoe template was used by each of the contest participants . . . some stayed within the lines while other contestants really thought "outside the shox"!
Serena Williams chose the winning design. Nike, GameSnake.com and Towpath Racquet Club helped create awareness for the game of tennis for young adults.
The Williams Sisters Tour
The site publicized the Williams Sisters Tour coming to Cleveland and was also used to announce all winners.
